1. Booking and Reservation:

   • All reservations must be made through one of the designated booking platforms or website.

   • A valid credit card, and if requested valid government ID must be provided at the time of booking.

2. Check-In/Check-Out:

   • Check-in time is from 3PM AST and check-out time is by 11AM AST.

   • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee.

3. Cancellation and Refund:

   • All cancellations made within 24 hours of booking are fully refundable, as long as the check-in date is greater then 7 days from the booking date. If the check-in date is within 7 days of the booking date, then any cancellations will be non-refundable.

   • All cancellation made after 24 hours from the time of booking are non-refundable.

   • No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.

4. Payment:

   • 100% payment is required to secure the reservation.

   • Failure to pay the balance on time may result in the cancellation of the reservation.

5. Occupancy:

   • The maximum occupancy is six people. (Including both adults and children). The maximum occupancy, as specified in the booking, must not be exceeded at any time.

   • At least one occupant above the age of 25 must be present during the entire stay.

   • The primary guest making the reservation must be the occupant meeting the age requirement.

   • All guests must comply with the age requirement, and the property owner reserves the right to request identification upon check-in.

   • Only registered guests are allowed on the property overnight.

   • The property is intended for quiet and private use. No parties, gatherings, or events are permitted without prior written consent from the property owner or management.

   • Any unauthorized parties or events may result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of the security deposit, and additional charges for damages or extra cleaning.

   • Guests are responsible for ensuring that all members of their party and any visitors adhere to this rule.

   • Any requests for hosting events or gatherings must be submitted in writing to the property owner or management at least 5 business days days before the planned date. Approval is at the discretion of the property owner or management, and subject to availability and additional cost.

6. Pets:

   • No pets are allowed unless prior approval has been obtained.

   • If approved, a pet fee and a refundable pet deposit may be required.

7. Smoking:

   • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Should evidence of smoking inside be detected by our cleaning staff, then a $1,000 cleaning fee shall apply to your final invoice.

   • Guests may smoke in designated outdoor areas at minimum distance of 15 feet from entrances, windows, and ventilation inlets, and proper disposal of cigarette butts is required.

8. Noise and Disturbance:

   • Quiet hours are from 10PM to 8AM

   • Excessive noise or disturbance may result in immediate eviction without refund.

9. Damages and Security Deposit:

   • Guests are responsible for any damages to the property and its contents.

   • A security deposit may be required and will be refunded within 5 business days after check-out, pending inspection.

10. Amenities and Equipment:

    • Guests must use all amenities and equipment (e.g., kitchen appliances, electronics) responsibly and in accordance with provided instructions.

    • Report any malfunctions or damages promptly.

11. Guest Conduct:

    • Respect the privacy and tranquility of neighbors.

    • Illegal activities, excessive alcohol consumption, and substance abuse are strictly prohibited.

12. Environmental Responsibility:

    • Conserve water and electricity.

    • Dispose of waste in designated bins.

13. Parking:

    • Use only designated parking spaces.

    • Observe any parking regulations in the area.

14. Emergency Procedures:

    • Familiarize yourself with any posted or noted emergency procedures provided by the owners or management.

    • In case of an emergency, contact the designated emergency services immediately.

15. Compliance with Local Laws:

    • Guests must comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.

16. Security Deposit:

    • A security deposit of $500, depending on the length of stay may be required to cover potential damages and will be refunded within 5 business days after check-out, pending inspection.

17. House Rules:

• Guests must adhere to all house rules outlined by the operators of the Taigh-Solais and/or Seaside-Escapes.ca.

• Violation of house rules may result in immediate eviction without refund.

• Damages:

  • Guests are financially responsible for any damages caused to the property and its contents.

  • Damages will be assessed, and repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit.

  • Liability:

  • The property owner and management are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or losses that occur on the premises. - Guests are advised to secure their personal belongings during their stay.

• Force Majeure:

  • The property owner is not liable for events beyond their control, such as natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Changes to Booking:

  • Changes to the booking dates or guest count may be subject to additional fees and are subject to availability.

• Communication:

  • Guests are encouraged to communicate any issues or concerns promptly to the property manager or owner.

 

By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.

 

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions without prior notice.
